The session, held online, brought together members of the Sub-Committee to review its updated composition and to adopt an ambitious yet realistic Work Plan for the year 2025. The meeting marked a critical moment in the Committee’s ongoing efforts to translate the African Union’s principles into tangible progress on the continent.

In his opening address, Ambassador Nyamitwe welcomed the participants and expressed gratitude for their unwavering dedication to the Union’s core principles — democracy, rule of law, human rights, and good governance.
